Born and raised in the culinary-rich region of Kerala, India, Chef Rinto Thomas has always had a passion for food and hospitality. He pursued this passion professionally by completing a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Marian College Kuttikanam, affiliated with Indira Gandhi Open University.
Upon graduating, Rinto began his culinary journey in 2010 with the prestigious Casino Group of Hotels in Kochi, Kerala—a renowned four-star hotel chain. Under the expert mentorship of Executive Chef Ajith Janardhanan, Rinto quickly developed his skills and culinary acumen.
From 2013 to 2017, Chef Rinto expanded his expertise by working at prominent establishments such as IBC Hotels & Resorts in Bangalore and Hotel Nila Residency in Shoranur. His dedication to mastering diverse culinary styles significantly shaped his versatile approach to cooking.
In 2017, Rinto embarked on a new chapter, moving to Kuwait to serve as Chef de Partie at Steers Italian Restaurant. His exceptional talent and leadership soon led him to the role of Sous Chef at Agnii Restaurant Company (2019-2023), where he deepened his mastery across various kitchen concepts including Modern Indian, Chinese, Arabic, Authentic South Indian cuisine, Burgers, and Pasta.
In 2023, Chef Rinto relocated to the UK, bringing with him an abundance of international culinary experience. Driven by his passion and culinary innovation, he launched Thomas Cook Catering Services in 2024, where he continues to delight clients by creating exciting, flavorful, and memorable dishes.
